I coordinated these photo shoots from brainstorming concepts with our Marketing and Communication team to recruiting the creative talent, preparing logistics and day-of agenda to managing the budget and offering creative direction for each shoot.
Each of these photo shoots were a collaboration with The Collective, a creative talent agency in San Diego, CA. The primary photographer was Walter Wilson.
The Science Changes Everything campaign was a broad reaching advertising campaign that Scripps Research launched in 2019 to introduce new engagement with the institute’s public facing brand. It included both print and digital advertisements that drove traffic to a website and converted site visitors to become magazine subscribers or attendees of our public lecture events. Each ad highlighted a specific researcher, who was exceptional in his or her field.
Both the COVID-19 and Neuroscience photo shoots were features in the Scripps Research bi-annual print magazine. I published the features online to the institute’s digital magazine, magazine.scripps.edu.
